Welcome to Scyldu. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scyldu website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Scyldu ("we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore.
By registering for or using Scyldu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, truthful, and up to date.
To access Scyldu's features, you must create an account by providing accurate personal information including your name, email address, date of birth, and gender. You may also be required to complete our compatibility quiz.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other person. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@scyldu.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Each user may only maintain one active account on Scyldu. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension or permanent ban of all associated accounts.
By using Scyldu, you agree that you will not:
Violation of any of these conduct rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice or refund.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to Scyldu, including photos and profile information. By uploading content, you grant Scyldu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
All content must be appropriate, respectful, and truthful. You must not upload content that is sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, or in violation of any third-party rights including copyright or intellectual property.
We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem to be in violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.
Scyldu offers both free and premium membership plans. Free accounts have limited access to features. Premium memberships unlock full platform functionality.
Premium memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize Scyldu to charge your chosen payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the paid period.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect for existing subscribers.
Scyldu provides a compatibility-based matching service. While we make every effort to provide high-quality matches, we do not guarantee that you will find a partner or that any match will result in a relationship. All interactions between users are the sole responsibility of the users involved.
We encourage all users to exercise caution when communicating with other users and to report any suspicious behavior to our Trust and Safety team immediately.
Your use of Scyldu is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
Scyldu is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community. If you encounter any user who you believe is acting inappropriately, dishonestly, or unsafely, you are encouraged to:
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any user found to be in violation of our community standards.
All content on the Scyldu Platform - including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, software, and matching algorithm - is the exclusive property of Scyldu and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Scyldu content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Scyldu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Scyldu in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scyldu its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another user or third party.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from the Platform subject to our data retention policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the safety of our community.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Scyldu after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
